| Worked Today: Start: 7:40PM Break: 9:00PM (10min) End: 10:15PM Run Full Show | Notes: Cast in Attendance: Full Cast |
| Sets: -Carriage: used for the first time, worked well -Screens SL & SR frames have been built -2x3 screens on SL & SR to cover set/set pieces for scene changes -Barb sketched Cryano and Private Lives backdrops: chose inspirational images to use, will be on Batten 1 -Nail the table down that’s between the two doors -Need a brace underneath the sofa for safety reasons -Balcony railings ETA? | Costumes: -Eileen(?) will be dressed as Cyrano, but only see their back from the orchestra pit (pg.104) -Outstanding: Nikki, Clint (need to find General jacket), Richard (1 suit), Paul (tux and street clothes), Howard (1 outfit that is not a suit, but dressy enough to impress), George (street clothes?) -George/Cyrano: There is a gold brocade jacket and several shirts by rehearsal shelves -Charlotte needs a watch -4 actors will be dressed up as soldiers at top of Act 1 (Jake, Art, Ben, Eileen) |
| Lights: -All additional light cues in Ron’s script -Don’t need stair lights on steps leading up to stage | Sound/Music: -Need a crash sound for when George falls back into orchestra pit (pg.104) -end of pg. 93 and pg. 104, need 1920s/1930s soft violin background music for set changes -All additional sound/music cues in Ron’s script |
| Props: -Roz WON’T wear an engagement ring -Fake lamp that Howard shoots at, it doesn’t need to work -Need a Mickey Rooney movie poster, Tamar and Mary Ellen to discuss further -Need: black drape or pc. of fabric that can cover carriage, masking/draping/pile of clothes to conceal George behind iron board, 2-3 extra letters to Roz, Roxane’s basket of wine, chicken and bread -Do we want all of the soldiers to have weapons? -Do we want more accessories/props to be scattered in the green room? -Garment bag needs a big bow on it | Blocking: -George will NOT fall into the pit, he will drop to his knees and do a stunt-man “shoulder roll” into the pit. -Roz: enter from stage right (Act2,Sc2) -Howard: move to the floor after fighting scene, don’t stay on the couch -Charlotte: put on blue jacket when you enter with your suitcase (Act1) -Adding lines in Act 1, Sc 1: George(Cyrano) “Roxane , on the King’s service?” followed by Charlotte (Roxane) “Yes, in the service…” |
