Worked Today:

Start: 7:24pm

Break: 8:16 (10min)

End: 9:34pm

Run Full Show, Ben- Howard and Clint-Paul

Notes:

Cast in Attendance: Full Cast

Excused: Jake

Sets:

-Beginning of Act1/Roxanne entrance from the carriage..Ron is in process of building, it is very heavy and will take 3-4 crew people to move.

-Barb to oversee cutting out the coach door trim and no painting it until it actually gets used once or twice

-Black curtain SL to cover vanity mirror

-2x3 screens on SL & SR to cover set/set pieces for scene changes

-Barb is sketching Cryano and Private Lives backdrops: chose inspirational images to use, will be on Batten 1

-Nail the table down that’s between the two doors

-Need a brace underneath the sofa for safety reasons

Costumes:

-A CREW member will be dressed as Cyrano, but only see their back from the orchestra pit (pg.104)

-All women except Ethel will be wearing garters and nylons

-All women should have red lips and red nails

-Men should have no facial hair

-The Cyrano pants that rip twice each night: on prop shelf / two for ripping (velcro) and one for wearing.

-Outstanding: Nikki, Clint (need to find General jacket), Richard (1 suit), Paul (tux and street clothes), Howard (1 outfit that is not a suit, but dressy enough to impress), George (street clothes?)

-Charlotte needs another robe, the cream one we tried last night took to long to tie

-Charlotte’s pleated white undergarment is perfect and so is her Roxanne gown

-George/Cyrano: There is a gold brocade jacket and several shirts by rehearsal shelves

-Charlotte needs a watch: Kristin is bringing one in to show us

-Charlotte: tried on different slip (need to make into halter) and blue dress- both are good. And her Roxanne wig works

Lights:

-Beginning of Act1 when Roxanne (Charlotte Hay) steps down from the coach/door, ME would like a lot of fog and the door to be darkly lit.

-Don’t need stair lights on steps leading up to stage

Sound/Music:

-telephone rings will be coming from Stacy backstage, it worked great

-Need a crash sound for when George falls back into orchestra pit (pg.104)

-end of pg. 93 and pg. 104, need 1920s/1930s soft violin background music for set changes

Props:

-Roz WON’T wear an engagement ring

-Fake lamp that Howard shoots at, it doesn’t need to work

-What kind of coffee mugs/cups will we be using?

-Need a Mickey Rooney movie poster, unsure of which movie: Tamar and Mary Ellen to discuss further

-Need: needle and thread, masking/draping/pile of clothes to conceal George behind iron board, suitcase for Roz, more makeup props

Blocking:

-George will NOT fall into the pit, he will drop to his knees and do a stunt-man “shoulder roll” into the pit.

-We will not block pg.9-11 until we're in the theatre

-Roz: make sure your suitcase is not on stairs when you see Ethel

-Michelle to cue Stacy to cue Howard when he hops out, tied up screaming police!

-Charlotte: peak in the garment bag Howard brings, while the slamming of the doors is going on behind you

-Charlotte will take off Roxanne dress and put on blue dress with Ethel’s help
